Enjoy gourmet food in front of the station! Izumisano Gourmet

The area around Izumisano Station is lined with a variety of restaurants, making it an area where one can enjoy food throughout the day.
The east exit of the station, where “sano no yado” is located, offers a wide variety of restaurants, from casual chain restaurants to local specialties, and you can go from one to the other on foot.

Izumisano Station (West Exit)

In the direction of the west exit of the station, houses and stores that retain the atmosphere of old private homes line the “Kishu Kaido” and “Kyoshigoe Kaido” roads, and visitors can enjoy discovering hideaway cafes and long-established restaurants.
A citywide revitalization and utilization plan is underway. New restaurants and eateries are opening in the area, and you can enjoy the variety of changes that have taken place over the years.

Homemade Udon Noodle Amou

• A popular udon restaurant near Izumisano City Hall.
  It features firm homemade udon noodles and a wide variety of menu items.
  Udon noodles with soup on chikuwa or vegetable tempura and an Onsen Tamago (soft-boiled egg) are popular.

Cocoron

• This small café near Izumisano Station offers dishes made with a variety of Senshu ingredients.
  We recommend the various Inunaki pork hamburgers, which feature juicy Inunaki pork patties and Senshu onions, with fresh vegetables in between.
  In particular, the “Sanomae Burger” using Mizunasu (variant of eggplant which can be eaten raw) a specialty of Senshu, won the Grand Prix in the Sanomae GP Recipe Contest.
  This menu is only available from around April to early October, when Mizunasu is in its best season. Please try it if you come across it!

Bicycle rental at the inn

• “sano no yado” offers two bicycles for rent.
  Since there are few parking lots and many one-way streets in front of Izumisano Station, we recommend that you use bicycles to get around.
  It is easy to get to restaurants that are a little further away!
  Anyone who uses “sano no yado” is welcome to use the bicycles. We hope you will enjoy your outing on a rented bicycle!
   
  If you have been drinking, please do not ride a bicycle, but always walk or take a cab.
  Driving a car, motorcycle, bicycle, etc. after consuming alcohol is illegal as “driving under the influence of alcohol”.
